man holding defibtech lifeline

What brand of defibrillators do you sell?

We supply Defibtech defibrillators – built in the USA to military-grade standards. They’re trusted by the Australian Federal Police, Navy, and QLD Government.

What’s included when I buy a defibrillator?

All our units come fully loaded with:

  • The Defibtech defibrillator unit
  • Battery
  • Adult pads (electrodes)
  • Rescue kit
  • Carry case
  • 8-year warranty
  • Free shipping

Optional: Add a wall mount bracket or cabinet for easier access and visibility.

What’s the battery life?

  • Fully Automatic model: 7-year battery life
  • View Model (includes screen): 4-year battery life

Both units also include a 9V internal battery that needs replacing yearly. The unit will beep to let you know when it’s time.

Do you sell pediatric pads?

Yes, pediatric electrode pads are available and should be replaced every 2 years (just like adult pads). They’re designed for children under 8 years old or under 25 kg.

Are the defibs easy to use?

Absolutely. Both models:

  • Talk you through each step in real time
  • Have clear visual diagrams showing pad placement
  • Are suitable for both beginners and professionals

Can I access training?

Yes – Defibtech offers an online training platform here:

Can anyone buy a defibrillator?

Yes, anyone can buy a defibrillator in Australia. You don’t need to be a medical professional. They’re ideal for businesses, homes, schools, and public places.

Can a defibrillator be used more than once?

Yes. Most AEDs, including Defibtech models, are built for multiple uses. After use, you’ll just need to replace the pads and check the battery. The device itself can deliver hundreds of shocks.

What does it mean when an AED says ‘analyze’?

This means the AED is checking the patient’s heart rhythm to see if a shock is needed. It’s important that no one is touching the person during this phase.

Why do they say ‘clear’ when using a defibrillator?

Saying “clear” warns everyone to step back before a shock is delivered. This ensures no one else is accidentally shocked or in contact with the patient.

Who can you use an AED on?

AEDs are safe to use on adults and children experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. For children under 8 years or under 25 kg, use pediatric pads if available. If not, adult pads are still safe in an emergency.
